On June 23, 2024, an incident occurred in Richmond County, Augusta, Georgia, resulting in the death of 86-year-old Kimiko Stewart. Kimiko Stewart was found dead inside her home located in the 3400 block of Byron Place. According to Coroner Mark Bowen, she had sustained at least one gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene at approximately 7:10 p.m..
