On January 5, 2015, Dr. Charles Falcone, a 72-year-old white male, and his wife, Nola Falcone, a 75-year-old white female, were found dead in their home on Walton Way in Augusta, Georgia. The couple was discovered by their housekeeper, who immediately alerted the authorities. Richmond County Coroner Mark Bowen confirmed that the deaths were the result of a murder-suicide.
