In the summer of 1959, a domestic disturbance in Augusta, Georgia, escalated into a tragedy that claimed the lives of two young sisters and a police officer. The quiet of a Sunday, June 14th, was shattered at a residence on Wrightsboro Road, the home of the Hofer family.
