In the quiet city of Augusta, Georgia, a tragedy unfolded that cut short the life of Shirley Bush, a 65-year-old woman. On the evening of Thursday, March 24, 2022, the familiar sounds of the Damascus Road area were shattered by the report of gunfire. When Richmond County sheriff's deputies arrived at the 2500 block of Damascus Road, they discovered a scene of violence that had claimed a life.
