On April 8, 2024, 46-year-old Latoya Denise Price was found deceased in her home on Algernon Circle in Augusta, Georgia. An investigation determined that the Black/African American female had been fatally shot. The tragic discovery was made around 6 p.m., prompting an immediate investigation by the Richmond County Sheriff's Office.
