On June 17, 2020, 37-year-old Nicole Diane Harrington, a mother of three from Hallandale Beach, Florida, was fatally shot in Augusta, Georgia. Her body was discovered the following morning in the elevator of the Augusta Convention Center's parking garage on Reynolds Street. The perpetrator was identified as 48-year-old Jason "Moose" Cunningham, a former Richmond County Sheriff's deputy.
