In the early morning hours of July 9, 2024, the life of 21-year-old Tajay Omarian Bramwell, a Black/African American male from the Lithonia area, was tragically cut short. DeKalb County Police were dispatched to the Spring Trace Apartments on Memorial Drive in Stone Mountain, Georgia, around 1 a.m. following reports of gunfire. Upon their arrival, they discovered Bramwell inside a vehicle in the parking lot, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
