Death by Force

On February 15, 2024, 17-year-old James Smith of Stone Mountain, Georgia, was found shot to death in a wooded area off North Hairston Road near Central Drive in DeKalb County. The DeKalb County Police Department responded to a call reporting a person shot and discovered Smith's body in the woods. Investigators believe that Smith had a dispute with unknown individuals on February 13, which may have led to his death.
