Death by Force

Anthony Cooley, a 42-year-old African American man from Stone Mountain, GA, tragically lost his life on June 13, 2018, in a shooting incident at a gas station. Cooley was an innocent bystander caught in the crossfire during a gunfight between two individuals at separate gas stations on North Hairston Road and Central Drive. The incident occurred just after 1:15 p.m. when shots were fired, and Cooley was fatally struck. He succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
