In the summer of 2024, a life was tragically cut short in Covington, Georgia. Taywyn T. Mason Jr., a 28-year-old Black male, was fatally shot on the afternoon of Monday, August 5, 2024. The incident unfolded near a vape shop at the intersection of Almon and Crowell Roads, a place that would become the final scene of Mason's life.
