Nancy Venegas, a 16-year-old Hispanic female, tragically lost her life on July 5, 2001, in Austin, Texas. The incident was part of a murder-suicide that also claimed the lives of 17-year-old Veronica Vasquez and 17-year-old Oscar Rangel. According to police reports, Oscar Rangel fatally shot Nancy Venegas and Veronica Vasquez before taking his own life.
