In the evening hours of Thursday, February 23, 2023, a burst of gunfire shattered the night in the 3100 block of Buena Vista Terrace in Southeast Washington, D.C. When the chaos subsided, 30-year-old Dimitri Remache, a male resident of Fort Washington, Maryland, was left with a fatal gunshot wound. Police were called to the scene at approximately 11:10 p.m. for a report of an unconscious person and found Remache unresponsive. D.C.
