In the early afternoon of February 26, 2023, the life of 57-year-old David Roscoe Wright, a Black male from Washington, D.C., was tragically cut short inside a residence in the 3300 block of D Street, Southeast. Wright was not the only victim that day; 54-year-old Nathaniel Howard also lost his life in the same violent incident. Both men were found suffering from gunshot wounds and were pronounced dead at the scene.
