On February 26, 2023, 57-year-old David Roscoe Wright of Washington, D.C., was tragically shot and killed inside a residence in the 3300 block of D Street, Southeast. Another victim, 54-year-old Nathaniel Howard, also suffered fatal gunshot wounds during the incident. Both men were pronounced dead at the scene.
