On Thursday, March 23, 2023, at approximately 7:29 PM, Kristian Stewart, a 21-year-old, was shot and killed in the Unit block of Galveston Street, SW, in Washington, D.C..

The incident is currently under investigation by the Metropolitan Police Department's Homicide Branch.
