In the late hours of a Sunday evening in Washington, D.C., the sound of gunshots shattered the night's calm in the 2700 block of Jasper Street, Southeast. On March 3, 2024, at approximately 10:05 p.m., officers from the Seventh District responded to reports of the shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered a man suffering from gunshot wounds. The man, identified as 31-year-old William Hargrove of Capitol Heights, Maryland, was pronounced dead at the scene.
