On a summer morning in Washington, D.C., the life of 29-year-old Lamont Street was cut short in a hail of gunfire. The tragic event unfolded on Thursday, July 18, 2024, at approximately 11:20 a.m. in the 2200 block of Alabama Avenue, Southeast. Street was one of four victims in a brazen quadruple shooting that also claimed the life of 50-year-old Jermaine Proctor.
