On Saturday, September 2, 2023, at approximately 5:59 a.m., 15-year-old Zyion Turner was shot and killed in the 4200 block of 4th Street, Southeast, in Washington, D.C. The incident occurred inside a residence, where members of the Seventh District of the Metropolitan Police Department responded to a report of a shooting.
