On April 27, 2017, at approximately 3:57 AM, Christopher Devin Heard, aged 37, was shot and killed in the 2300 block of Ainger Place, SE, Washington, DC. The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) responded to the scene and initiated an investigation into the homicide. The incident occurred in a residential area, and the police sought the public's assistance in gathering information regarding the case.
