David Michael "Slim" Bewig Jr., a 31-year-old music promoter from Pevely, Missouri, was tragically shot and killed in St. Louis on December 9, 2016. Bewig was in town to promote a "birthday bash" concert when he was found dead inside his car in the 5500 block of Etzel Avenue. The police responded to a "suspicious auto" report at around 2:32 AM and discovered Bewig with gunshot wounds to his head.
