Diamonte Tyziah Lewis, a 24-year-old father of two from Southeast Washington, D.C., was shot and killed early in the morning of October 21, 2023. The incident occurred in the 900 block of U Street, NW, in front of Nellie's Sports Bar at the intersection of 9th and U streets.
