On Saturday, April 13, 2024, at approximately 4:12 a.m., a fatal shooting occurred in Southeast Washington, D.C. The victim, identified as 35-year-old Christian Elsberry of Clinton, Maryland, was found inside a vehicle that was partially parked on the sidewalk at the intersection of Stanton Road and Mississippi Avenue SE.
