Death by Force

On July 26, 2021, John Edmonds, a 35-year-old resident of Northwest Washington, DC, was tragically shot and killed. The incident occurred in the 600 block of Jefferson Street, Northwest, at approximately 3:58 PM. Upon hearing gunshots, members of the Fourth District responded to the scene and found Edmonds suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite being transported to a local hospital for treatment, Edmonds succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead shortly after.
