In the early morning hours of Wednesday, May 15, 2024, violence erupted inside a residence in the 3300 block of D Street, Southeast in Washington, D.C. Responding to reports of a shooting at approximately 12:53 a.m., Metropolitan Police Department officers from the Sixth District arrived to a chaotic scene. Inside the home, they discovered three individuals who had been struck by gunfire.
