In the early morning hours of November 15, 2021, a burst of gunfire shattered the pre-dawn quiet in the 1900 block of 14th Street, Southeast in Washington, D.C. When officers from the Metropolitan Police Department's Sixth District arrived at the scene around 6:05 a.m., they discovered a grim tableau.
