In the summer of 2014, a dispute between acquaintances in Yazoo City, Mississippi, escalated to a fatal encounter. Shannon Blake Kirk, a 27-year-old male, was shot and killed on July 12, 2014. The incident led to the arrest of 23-year-old Chris Williams.
