In the early hours of January 21, 2023, a burst of gunfire in a shopping plaza parking lot on Whalley Avenue in New Haven, Connecticut, tragically ended the life of 33-year-old Michael Wint. A Black / African American male, Wint was discovered seated in his vehicle with a gunshot wound. He was rushed to Yale New Haven Hospital but succumbed to his injuries.
