In the Newhallville neighborhood of New Haven, Connecticut, a bright life was tragically cut short on the evening of Saturday, September 27, 2025. Kaiden Phillips, a 15-year-old Black male, was found unresponsive with apparent gunshot wounds on the ground near Butler and Bassett streets.
