On April 1, 2023, a fatal shooting occurred in the area of Winthrop Avenue and Goffe Terrace in New Haven, Connecticut. The incident was reported just before 8 a.m. following a ShotSpotter activation and multiple 911 calls about a shooting. When police arrived, they found two individuals suffering from gunshot wounds in a parked Acura MDX.
