On March 21, 2024, a fatal shooting occurred outside the Waterbury Superior Court in Waterbury, Connecticut. The victim, identified as 26-year-old Jarron Chapman from Waterbury, was shot at around 11:40 a.m. as he exited the courthouse. Chapman had attended court proceedings earlier that day and was believed to have been deliberately targeted.
