On a late morning in Waterbury, Connecticut, the life of a 26-year-old Black / African American man, Jarron Chap, was brought to an abrupt and violent end. On March 21, 2024, at approximately 11:40 a.m., Chap was fatally shot as he departed the Waterbury Superior Court.
