In the early morning hours of a Saturday in Waterbury, Connecticut, a vibrant life was tragically cut short. Sebastian Olavarria, a 28-year-old Hispanic male, was shot and killed on August 13, 2022. The incident unfolded around 1:40 a.m. outside of Mikey's Jamaican Restaurant on East Main Street, where Olavarria was found lying on the ground with gunshot wounds. He was rushed to a nearby hospital but ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
