On a summer afternoon in Waterbury, Connecticut, the life of 32-year-old Donald Moore, a Black male, was tragically cut short. On June 17, 2023, in the vicinity of the Big Apple Motel on West Main Street, Moore was shot in the neck. The incident unfolded after 4 p.m., leaving him with a fatal injury. First responders found Moore and quickly transported him to Waterbury Hospital, but his life could not be saved, and he was pronounced dead.
