On the morning of December 28, 2024, a shooting at a residence on Pine Creek Road in Grantsville, West Virginia, claimed the life of 51-year-old Jodee Louise Tribioli, a Caucasian female who had recently moved to the area from Lebanon, Pennsylvania. Also killed in the incident was her 71-year-old aunt, Carole Heagy, of Mount Gretna, Pennsylvania. Two men were also critically injured in the attack. The Calhoun County Sheriff was the first to arrive at the scene and discovered the victims.
