Steven Dean Pettit, a 49-year-old resident of Hillsboro, Missouri, passed away on August 17, 2017. Born on May 4, 1968, in Charleston, South Carolina, Pettit was a U.S. Naval veteran and the owner of Blackwood Firearms LLC. He was also a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association (NRA) and an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and boating.
