Carole Heagy, a 71-year-old White woman from Mount Gretna, Pennsylvania, was killed on December 28, 2024, during a shooting at a residence off Pine Creek Road near the Mount Zion community outside Grantsville, West Virginia. The Calhoun County Emergency Operations Center alerted law enforcement to the shooting at approximately 8:28 that morning.
