A sense of unease settled over the Rockrimmon neighborhood on the northwest side of Colorado Springs on the morning of October 16, 2024. Responding to reports of shots fired in the 7400 block of Stonecrop Court, police discovered the body of 48-year-old Todd Schneider, a male resident, inside a home. He had sustained at least one gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.
