In the early evening of a Tuesday in Colorado Springs, a call reporting a shooting broke the calm in the 1200 block of Potter Drive. When police officers arrived at the scene on November 22, 2022, they found a man who had already succumbed to his injuries. The deceased was identified as 30-year-old Carlos Enrique Diaz-Valdes, a resident of the city.
