On June 2, 2023, Qualin Campbell, a 31-year-old father of two, was found dead in his company vehicle in a parking lot along South Nevada Avenue in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The incident began when Campbell sent alarming text messages to his wife, Tali'Ja Campbell, including a photo of a white male in the passenger seat of his vehicle and messages reading "911" and "send please!" along with his location.
