In the late summer of 2023, the life of a Colorado Springs man, Shane Cordova, was cut tragically short. On Saturday, August 5, 2023, police were dispatched to a residence in the 200 block of West Brookside Street to investigate a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered the body of 40-year-old Shane Cordova inside the home.
