On March 10, 2023, Nicholas Childs, a 37-year-old man, was found deceased in Jonesboro, Arkansas, due to an apparent gunshot wound. The incident occurred at a convenience store, specifically the Kum & Go located at 680 Southwest Drive. Jonesboro Police Department officers responded to the scene after a report of a shooting, where they discovered Childs lying in the parking lot.
