In the early morning hours of September 4, 2022, the quiet streets of Jonesboro, Arkansas, were disturbed by a grim discovery. A patrolling officer found the body of 39-year-old Kevin 'Bo Bo' Lynn Oden Jr., a White / Caucasian male, lying near the intersection of Warren and Spruce Streets. Oden had sustained a fatal gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Remembered as a man with a big heart who never met a stranger, he was known for his generosity, even willing to give the shirt off his back to someone in need. A skilled bricklayer by trade, he was a father who loved fishing and playing pool.

Prunty was promptly arrested and taken into custody at the Craighead County Detention Center.
