In the late afternoon of Wednesday, October 30, 2024, police in North Little Rock, Arkansas, responded to a call concerning an unresponsive male in the 200 block of West 14th Street. Upon arrival, just before 3 p.m., they discovered the body of 78-year-old Bruce Tate, a resident of the nearby city of Sherwood. It was immediately apparent that Tate had suffered significant, fatal injuries, prompting authorities to launch a homicide investigation into his death.
