In the early afternoon of a Sunday in North Little Rock, Arkansas, the sound of gunfire shattered the quiet of the 1800 block of Ben Street, leaving two men dead in a double homicide. On February 23, 2020, police responded to reports of a shooting at approximately 12:45 p.m. and discovered a grim scene. One of the victims, 39-year-old Fred Wesson, a Black male, was found deceased.
