On the evening of August 29, 2024, the life of 20-year-old Kavon Campbell, a Black/African American male from Davenport, Iowa, was tragically cut short. At approximately 9:07 p.m., Davenport police were dispatched to the 7500 block of Northwest Boulevard following reports of gunfire. Upon their arrival, officers discovered a chaotic scene with three victims suffering from gunshot wounds.
