In the early hours of Sunday, January 28, 2024, the life of 32-year-old Leonard P. Miller III, a Black/African American male from Davenport, Iowa, was irrevocably altered. Responding to reports of gunfire around 4:15 a.m., Davenport police arrived at the 100 block of E. 12th Street to find Miller with life-threatening gunshot wounds.
