On a spring night in Davenport, Iowa, the life of 19-year-old Michael Williams was cut short by gunfire. It was the evening of May 7, 2011, and a rap concert at the Col Ballroom had drawn a crowd. Inside the venue, tensions flared, leading to a physical altercation involving multiple people. Following the fight, the conflict spilled outside, and in the ensuing chaos, shots were fired.
