Andrew Dontae Gaston, an 18-year-old resident of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died unexpectedly on Saturday, January 25, 2020. However, it is important to note that some reports indicate the incident occurred on January 24, 2020.

The incident took place at an apartment complex located on Agin Court NE, just south of Blairs Ferry Road in Cedar Rapids. Gaston was shot and killed during this event. Additionally, a 16-year-old was also shot and injured in the same incident.
