Wilanna Simone Bibbs, a 20-year-old aspiring singer from Durham, North Carolina, was fatally shot on May 9, 2021, in Davenport, Iowa. The incident occurred at a home in Davenport, where Bibbs was visiting with her boyfriend, Justin Wright, also known as J. Wright, a multi-platinum songwriter and music industry entrepreneur from Atlanta.
