On October 5, 2016, Donna V. (Gamble) Freese, aged 57, and her husband, Kevin L. Freese, aged 58, were fatally shot in their home in Davenport, Iowa. The incident occurred in the early morning hours, following a heated argument between their son, Sean M. Freese, and his parents.
