In the late morning of Sunday, October 25, 2020, the life of 19-year-old Lavonta Baker, a male resident of Davenport, Iowa, was tragically cut short. Davenport Police responded to a report of shots fired just before 11 a.m. in the 2300 block of West 2nd Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered Baker unresponsive inside a vehicle.
