In the summer of 2015, a tragedy unfolded in a quiet Phoenix neighborhood, forever altering the lives of a family. On the evening of Sunday, August 16th, 45-year-old Adela Garcia Hernandez was found shot to death inside her home near 85th Avenue and Camelback Road. She was not alone; alongside her was 25-year-old Juan Antonio Manjarrez-Camarillo, who had also been fatally shot.
